What is ABA?

ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis, a scientific approach to understanding and modifying behavior. It is commonly used in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), but it can be applied to various settings, such as education, healthcare, and organizational behavior management. ABA is a very effective approach in changing responses that are barriers to development.

 

What is Autism?

Autism, or more formally, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental disorder that affects how a person thinks, interacts, and experiences the world. It is called a «spectrum» because it manifests in a wide range of ways and varying degrees of severity, from mild to more profound impairments.
